Southern California!

I trained at The Culinary Institute of America in New York, worked in restaurants in Sun Valley, Idaho and Los Angeles, California and ended up in the O.C. I’ve been featured in People, Riviera, Sunset, Coast, The Los Angeles Daily News, PBS and Fine Living, among others. Along the way, I founded Sugar Blossom Bake Shop located in the charming beach town of San Clemente, California.

Oh and I write cookbooks, too. My first book, Beach House Baking: An Endless Summer of Delicious Desserts, was named one of 2014’s Top 10 Summer Cookbooks by USA Today. I am also the author of Beach House Brunch: 100 Delicious Ways to Start Your Long Summer Days, Farm-to-Table Desserts: 80 Seasonal Organic Recipes From Your Local Farmers’ Market, Beach House Dinners: Simple, Summer-Inspired Recipes For Entertaining Year-Round, and the forthcoming Plant Based Cooking for Two (Fall 2022).
